FAQs
A. Yes. Global Rescue pioneered worldwide field rescue and our medical teams understand that an injury in a remote place can have serious consequences. Any illness or injury that results in the need for emergent care is covered by your membership. You do not need to be hospitalized afterward for our Field Rescue services to be covered.
Q: Will Global Rescue fly me home on a private plane if I get sick?
A: If you suffer an illness or injury requiring hospitalization and wish to go home, Global Rescue will provide transport by the medically appropriate form of travel. Global Rescue will determine the mode of transport, taking into account member safety, treatment, and comfort concerns. We provide transport via private and commercial aircraft to our members’ home country hospital of choice. All transport costs are included in the cost of membership.
Q: If I have signed up for Security Services, will Global Rescue evacuate me from an active war zone?
A: When Global Rescue members are faced with a threat that could result in bodily harm or a government evacuation order is declared, we bring them to safety and transport them home. Our teams of military special operations veterans are immediately available to advise you, deploy to you, and extract you in the event of an emergency, natural disaster, terrorist attack, or civil unrest. All transport costs are included in the cost of membership.
(Some restrictions apply. Consult the Global Rescue Member Services Agreement for full details.)
