Error – USB-A Overload Protection
Cause:
The USB overload indicator is flashing due to too much energy load drawn through the USB-A port.
Solution:
Remove the attached electrical device from the USB-A port, and regular operation will resume.
Error – USB-C Overload Protection
Cause:
The USB overload indicator is flashing due to too much energy load running through the USB-C port.
Solution:
Remove the attached electrical device from the USB-C port, and the unit will resume regular operation.
Error – USB-C High-Temperature Protection
Cause:
The USB-C temperature indicator is flashing because the unit becomes too hot.
Solution:
Allow the product to cool down, and regular operation will resume automatically.
Error – High-Temperature Charge Protection
Cause:
The temperature and battery recharge indicators are flashing due to the battery becoming too hot.
Solution:
The unit will resume charging automatically once the battery cools down.
Error – High-Temperature Discharge Protection
Cause:
The battery and temperature indicators are flashing because the battery has become too hot.
Solution:
The battery needs to cool down, and then the power supply will resume automatically.
Error – Low-Temperature Charge Protection
Cause:
The battery recharge time and temperature indicators are flashing because the battery temperature is too low.
Solution:
Battery charging will be resumed automatically once the battery temperature rises above 41°F.
Error – Low-Temperature Discharge Protection
Cause:
The temperature indicator is flashing because the battery temperature dropped too low.
Solution:
Once the battery temperature rises above 10°F, the power supply will be resumed automatically.
Error – AC Output Overload Protection
Cause:
The output overload indicator is flashing due to a connected device.
Solution:
Disconnect the overloaded device and restart the machine. Regular operation will then resume automatically. Only use electrical appliances that are within the unit’s power limitations.
Error – AC High-Temperature Protection
Cause:
The temperature indicator is flashing due to the high unit temperature.
Solution:
Check the fan inlet and outlets to make sure it is not blocked. Once cleared, the machine will start regular operation automatically when the temperature drops.
Error – AC Low-Temperature Protection
Cause:
The temperature indicator is flashing.
Solution:
The unit will resume regular operation once it is placed within the recommended environmental temperatures.
Error – Fan Blockage
Cause:
The fan indicator is flashing.
Solution:
Check if any type of foreign object or material blocks the fan.
Error – Car Charger Overload Protection
Cause:
The overload indicator light is flashing because of a device attached to the car charger.
Solution:
Remove the device attached to the car charger, and the unit will return to regular operation.
Error – Car Charger High-Temperature Protection
Cause:
The temperature indicator is flashing because the car charger has become too hot.
Solution:
Allow the unit to cool down, and it will resume regular operation automatically.
Error – Battery Failure
Cause:
The battery indicator light stays on. The cause may be unknown.
Solution:
Due to an unknown cause, you may need to contact EcoFlow customer service for help.
